England made light work of an Australian T20 Prime Minister's XI as they chased down a 136-run total with eight wickets and seven overs to spare.

Peter Handscomb top scored for the Aussie contingent hitting 43 off 29 balls but it was England opener David Willey that dominated with the bat as he smashed 79 from 36 deliveries.

A costly 34-run over from Willey off Nathan Lyon's bowling all but sealed a result that has since been overshadowed by a controversial catch from England's Sam Billings.

Billings pulled off a remarkable catch on the boundary to dismiss James Faulkner, throwing the ball up in the air as he fell over the boundary rope and reclaiming it as he stepped back in the play.

Check it out below.

The catch however angered some fans with Billings not stepping back into the field before claiming the catch, an act that would have invalidated the catch five years ago before a rule change.

So while technically legal, the rule and catch has left people divided.
