It may not have the same snappiness to it that motivational speaker Eric Thomas’ famous “When you want to succeed as bad as you want to breathe, then you'll be successful” has, but for English Physical Disabilities (PD) player Liam Thomas, it’s how he’s become an internet sensation.

Fielding at deep backwards square during the final of the ICC Academy Dubai Invitational T20 against Pakistan last week, Thomas chased down a  sweep but, while diving for the ball, lost his prosthetic leg.

No matter.

Unlike Thomas, the English couldn’t get the job done, losing by three wickets.
