T20 World Cup Final: Aussies take the stage with Katy Perry to celebrate MCG triumph image

The Australians have celebrated their T20 World Cup Final triumph by taking the stage with international pop superstar Katy Perry.

In scenes reminiscent of Jack Riewoldt's post-2017 Grand Final celebration with The Killers , the Aussie girls lapped up the 30,000 strong crowd who stayed around for the post-match concert.

After a dominant victory over India in the final , the Aussies took their time to soak up the amazing atmosphere in the MCG.

While the celebrations were subdued to start with, once Katy Perry got back underway the Aussies really let their hair down!

They watched on as Perry got her set underway, but eventually ended up on stage with the American singer.

Videos from fans at the venue show the team singing along to "Firework", and according to some online, they might be good at cricket but their singing needs some work!

You can watch some of the amazing scenes of the Aussies on stage with Katy Pery below.

Molly Strano and Sophie Molineux were the ones in particular who seemed to shine for the Aussies, while Erin Burns, who didn't make it on the field during the tournament, certainly made the most of her opportunity on stage with Katy Perry.

We can't wait for even more footage to emerge from this performance, because there's surely going to be some embarrassing but entirely memorable and justified celebrations from our world champion Aussie girls.
