Four wickets from Test tweaker Nathan Lyon has helped New South Wales to a convincing 104-run victory over Western Australia as round five of the Sheffield Shield concluded on Friday.
Lyon, who was the only member of Australia's regular bowling attack to feature in Shield action this week, collected 4-86 in his final hit-out before the first Test against India on December 6.
The off-spinner also nabbed three poles in the first dig for a match total of 7-120.

Chasing 317 at Perth Stadium, WA was rolled for 212 with all-rounder Marcus Stoinis' 81 the lone highlight for the hosts in the second innings.
