The Pakistan cricket team has been hit by a viral fever ahead of a crucial clash against Australia in the Cricket World Cup on Friday at M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore.
Several Pakistani players fell ill in the last few days, but the Pakistan Cricket Board has reported that most of them have now fully recovered while some are still under medical observation.
Pakistan head into this match after a crushing seven-wicket defeat against India while their opponents picked up their first win of the tournament after beating Sri Lanka.
It's worth noting that Bengaluru has experienced cases of viral fever in recent months, possibly attributed to weather changes, which may have caused minor health issues for the visiting team.
