Sri Lanka bowling coach and former international seamer Nuwan Zoysa has been charged by the ICC with three breaches of the organisation's Anti-Corruption Code and provisionally suspended with immediate effect.

Zoysa, who played 30 Tests and 95 one-day internationals for his country between 1997 and 2007, has 14 days to respond to the charges, which include a breach of Article 2.1.1: "being party to an effort to fix or contrive or to otherwise influence improperly the result, progress, conduct or other aspect of an international match".

The 40-year-old is also charged with "directly soliciting, inducing, enticing or encouraging a player" to breach Article 2.1.1, and a failure to disclose details of approaches to "engage in corrupt conduct".
