MORE: India desperate for Australia Day win
New Zealand clinched their one-day international series against Sri Lanka with a comprehensive 120-run win in Dunedin on Sunday.
Kane Williamson (97) and Ross Taylor (96) led the hosts to their victory at University Oval in the sixth ODI.
The win puts the Kiwis into a 4-1 series lead, ending any chance Sri Lanka had of at least drawing the seven-match contest.
Williamson and Taylor put on 117 for the third wicket as New Zealand made 315-8 after electing to bat first.
Only Kumar Sangakkara (81) got going for the tourists, who were bowled out for 195 in the 41st over.
Corey Anderson finished with 4-52 for the hosts.
Brendon McCullum won the toss and elected to bat, a decision he may have been regretting when he fell in the second over.
Thisara Perera took a good catch as McCullum (0) tried to take on Dhammika Prasad (2-59).
It could have been 10-2 when Prasad appeared to have trapped Martin Guptill in front.
But Guptill was given not out and, when Sri Lanka asked for a review, the system was not working.
Guptill survived another close call in the 12th over before he fell for 28, inside-edging a Perera delivery onto his pad and through to Sangakkara.
Williamson was dropped on 27 and it would prove costly as he and Taylor put the Kiwis in control.
He ended up three runs short of a century after a run out, and Taylor also failed to notch up a ton.
Anderson contributed most of the lower-order hitting, blasting 40 off 28 balls.
Lahiru Thirimanne (29) and Tillakaratne Dilshan (21) got Sri Lanka off to a decent start.
But they fell in quick succession as Anderson removed Dilshan and Mitchell McClenaghan (2-29) got Thirimanne to leave Sri Lanka at 61-2.
Mahela Jayawardene survived two reviews before departing for nine, Anderson getting the big wicket.
Only Dimuth Karunaratne (26) provided any support for Sangakkara as Sri Lanka lost 49-7 to finish the game.
Game seven is in Wellington on Thursday.
