Mitchell Marsh pressed his claims for a starting place in Australia's first Ashes Test against England with a rapid century on day three of their warm-up match against Kent.
The right-hander will go up against all-rounder Shane Watson for a spot in the series-opener in Cardiff in just under a fortnight's time, and he looked in good form as he brought up his hundred off just 94 balls before retiring on 101 on Saturday.
Watson was among the runs himself, scoring 81 off just 76 as Australia closed day three on 322-4 in their second innings, giving them a hefty lead of 549 runs.
Marsh was eight not out by tea but upped the pace considerably in the final session - his knock including 12 fours and five sixes.
He and Watson put on 153 runs for the third wicket as Australia piled on the runs in Canterbury.
Kent started play on 203-5 but slipped to 280 all out, with Ryan Harris taking his first wickets of the tour by claiming England limited-over batsman Sam Billings (24) and Adam Ball (45).
Those wickets will come as a big boost to Harris, after coach Darren Lehmann hinted earlier this week that he may not play the first Test, having not featured in the longest format of the game since January.
