Australia coach Darren Lehmann will consider changes to his team for the second Test despite the comprehensive win over New Zealand in Brisbane.
The hosts were dominant from the outset at the Gabba, completing a 208-run win on Monday to take a 1-0 lead in the three-Test series.
Despite the display, Lehmann said the Perth wicket could still lead to changes to his XI for the second Test starting Friday.
"We have to wait until (we see) the wicket," he told a news conference on Tuesday.
"(Chief selector) Rodney Marsh gets there today so we'll go down and have a look this afternoon and make sure we've got the right XI.
"If it changes, it changes, but obviously someone is going to be unlucky to miss out again."
Lehmann is desperate to see his team improve with the new ball and put more pressure on the tourists.
A change in the pace attack could lead to an opportunity for Peter Siddle, who was the 12th man in Brisbane.
"We feel for him," Lehmann said.
"If he gets his chance in Perth, great, if he misses out again (then) that's the way it is at the moment.
"He'll get his chance somewhere down the track if he doesn't play in Perth."
