It is a top of the table battle as Rajasthan Royals (RR) host Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) at the Sawai Man Singh Stadium in Jaipur on Wednesday.
The hosts are leading the IPL standings, having won four of their first five matches. They head into this fixture on the back of a three-wicket win over the defending champions Gujarat Titans.
After Sanju Samson set the tone with a blistering 60 off just 32 balls, while chasing 177, Shimron Hetmyer finished the job by staying until the end. The Caribbean batsman hit a match-winning knock of 56* off 26 balls at a strike rate of 215.38 to steer RR over the line.
Meanwhile, LSG have won three matches out of five and came out second best against Punjab Kings (PBKS) in their last outing.
However, they have a couple of positives from the defeat with skipper KL Rahul getting back into form, courtesy of his 74 off 56 balls. Whereas, Yudhvir Singh got two wickets giving just 18 runs in his three overs and could trouble the RR openers on a pace-friendly Sawai Man Singh Stadium pitch.
These two teams have faced each other two times in the past, with RR winning on both occasions.
