The upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) looms as the most exciting to date, with some of cricket's biggest names set to play in the T20 competition. 

Players from India and abroad will partake in the tournament, with some high-profile Aussies and Englishmen signing on with IPL franchises. 

T20 World Cup champions England will have a strong representation in the IPL, with the likes of Sam Curran and Liam Livingstone earning huge paydays following the auction.

Which English players are in the IPL?

A total of 13 English players will feature in the upcoming IPL season, with the Punjab Kings and Royal Challengers Bangalore signing three each. 

Just two teams — Gujarat Titans and Kolkata Knight Riders — will have no English players.
