Liam Livingstone entered the record books on Sunday after smashing 350 in a domestic one-day match for Nantwich Cricket Club in England.

The 21-year-old Lancashire batsman, yet to make his first-team debut, belted 34 fours and 27 sixes in his 138-ball knock in the ECB National Club Championship fixture played at Whitehouse Lane.

Livingstone's innings against Caldy beat the previous mark of 334, set by Nikhilesh Surendran in India in 2008-09 – according to Cricinfo's Statsguru.

Nantwich made 579-7 from 45 overs before Caldy were bowled out for just 79.

"I was 194 not out at drinks and the lads came on and said there was a world record on, so I knew about it but I wasn't really thinking about it," Livingstone told Sky Sports News.

"Once my innings was over, the lads came in and told me it was a new world record, so it's been a good day.

"I try to bat properly. The wicket today did a little bit early on and I thought the only way to play was to try and whack it and luckily I got a few out the middle and just kept going really."
