One of the most iconic fixtures on the Australian sporting calendar – the Boxing Day Test – has reached Day 4 with Australia hosting Pakistan at the MCG in the second game of their series.

The opening day lost nearly three hours of play after the predicted rainfall occurred just after lunch, to make organisers shift the start time for the rest of the Test.

The Sporting News has the key times and details for the annual cricket fixture.

Boxing Day Test: Start time for Australia vs. Pakistan

Day 1 of the Boxing Day Test started at 10:30 am AEDT on Tuesday, December 26.

However, after a late finish to squeeze in some action after the extended rain delay, an early start time will now be applied for the rest of the match.

From Day 2 onwards, the start time has been moved to 10:00 am AEDT in an attempt to make up for the 2 hours and 45 minutes that were lost.

Stumps will be called at roughly 6:00 pm AEDT daily.
