Dan Christian blasted 30 runs off a single over after Mitch Swepson made the most of his call-up with the ball in Australia’s three-wicket win over Bangladesh in the fourth T20 International on Sunday morning (AEST).
Swepson looked right at home in the bowler-friendly conditions at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium, finishing with impressive figures of 3-12 off four overs after the Tigers won the toss and elected to bat.
Andrew Tye (3-18) and Josh Hazlewood (2-12) were the other multiple wicket takers for the tourists as they restricted Bangladesh to 9-104.
Looking to avoid a fourth-straight defeat, Australia lost Matthew Wade from the fourth ball of their run chase.

Christian, who was promoted to No.3, got the innings back on track when he launched five sixes off the bowling Shakib Al Hasan in the third over.
The veteran all-rounder’s 37 off 15 deliveries was a brief but pivotal contribution for the visitors.
The rest of the run chase was far from straightforward as the Aussies fell to 6-65 when the in-form Mitchell Marsh departed for 11, his only failure of the tour so far.
A 34-run stand between Ashton Agar (27 off 27) and Ashton Turner (nine not out) proved the difference between the two sides, with Tye (four not out) hitting the winning runs.
