Ashton Agar has tested positive for Covid-19 ahead of the first One-Day International against Pakistan and will remain in isolation for five days, keeping him out of the three-match ODI series.
Agar is the second Australian player to return a positive test after Josh Inglis, leaving Australia with just 13 fit players at the start of the series, which will be followed by a solitary T20 International, all of which are being played at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.
Team physiotherapist Brendan Wilson also tested positive on Tuesday but all other players and staff returned negative test results.
Queensland batter Matthew Renshaw will arrive in Lahore on Tuesday via a commercial flight as a replacement for Inglis and will spend three days in isolation before joining the rest of the squad.
At this stage it is unlikely Cricket Australia will fly in any more replacement players.
Meanwhile, Mitch March is recovering from a hip injury and is hopeful of returning to the field sometime during the ODI series.
Marsh felt a twinge in his hip during a training drill on Sunday but scans revealed it to be a low-grade hip flexor strain and, while he has been ruled out of the first ODI, the allrounder was moving more freely on Tuesday and was reportedly recovering well.
