Pound-for-pound star Oleksandr Usyk returns to action to defend his IBF, WBA, WBO, and Ring heavyweight titles against Daniel Dubois at the Tarczynski Arena in Wroclaw, Poland, on August 26 (August 27 in Australia), the week of Ukrainian Independence Day.
Facing the 25-year-old Dubois in a pre-fight press conference, the veteran southpaw believes the fight will be his for the taking.
“The only thing he could see in my eyes was light. Do I look like a man afraid of Daniel [Dubois]? He has no confidence,” Usyk said to Seconds Out.

“He’s just talking about confidence. He’s a little bit too young and too emotional.”
Dubois is a former English, British, and Commonwealth heavyweight champion. He recovered following a knockout loss to Joe Joyce in 2020 by winning four in a row.
