Nikita Tszyu will challenge for a maiden national title when he meets Dylan Biggs with the Australian super welterweight strap on the line in Newcastle on November 22.
Biggs, 21, is the current title holder and boasts an undefeated 10-0 record.
Similarly, the 25-year-old Tszyu is perfect through seven professional fights.

The pair will headline a pay-per-view event at Newcastle Entertainment Centre, a venue in which the Tszyu family has significant history.
Kostya and Tim Tszyu have good memories in Steel City, having claimed big wins throughout their respective careers, while Nikita himself is also 2-0 in the venue.
Who is Dylan Biggs?
Dylan Biggs is a 21-year-old boxer from Beaudesert in Queensland.
Currently holding a 10-0 record with seven knockouts, Biggs defeated Dan Hill in July to win the Australian super welterweight title.
Biggs is coming off a first-round stoppage of Ryan Mitchem in his most recent outing, dropping his opponent three times on the way to victory.
The star prospect said he’d always expected to face Tszyu at same point.
“I’ve know this fight was coming and I’ve been preparing for it.”
What happened when Nikita Tszyu sparred Dylan Biggs?
At a press conference on Thursday, Tszyu confirmed rumours he’d been dropped in a sparring session between the pair.
“We have a bit of history,” Tszyu said.
“Dylan was probably one of the toughest sparring partners I had in the early part of my career.
“In the first four months of my career, we had a sparring session and he got the better of me.
“He dropped me with a punch that didn’t necessarily hurt me, just kind of caught me off balance but it was a good shot and I learned a lot from that sparring session.
“I honestly praise him for that sparring session because I learned so much about myself and so much about this sport that I love.
“I knew this fight would eventually happen so I’ve always kept that sparring session in the back of my head.”
Biggs confirmed Tszyu’s account was accurate.
“It was a well-placed shot and I guess he wasn’t ready to defend it but he got up and we kept going, there’s not much to think of it,” Biggs said.
“I think we’ve both progressed significantly but, at the end of the day, everyone’s vulnerable to an extent in this sport. Everyone’s got a puncher’s chance.
“I’m confident in myself and my abilities but I don’t take anything from it.”
Nikita Tszyu vs. Dylan Biggs undercard
No Limit Boxing boss Matt Rose confirmed two other names to appear on the card.
“We’re also excited to bring Issac Hardman back on the card,” Rose said.
“Issac had a dominant win recently and is excited to get back in the ring.
“He’s happy to call out anyone in the country in the middleweight division.
“Kiki Leutele was in one of the fights of the year recently.”
