Proving that he is taking boxing seriously, Jake Paul is ready to risk it all, from his reputation to his bank account. Paul faces Andre August at the Caribe Royale in Florida on December 15.

Paul has faced YouTubers, former NBA players and retired MMA stars in the ring. His only contest against a boxer was a loss against Tommy Fury, a fight in which he knocked down by the former Love Island star. Paul last faced Nate Diaz.

Several of his fights have been in grand arenas with thousands of fans. Against August in Florida, Paul believes he could lose a lot of money, but the result will be worth it.

"This is probably just a break-even fight for me," Jake told TMZ Sports. "I probably won't even make money on it. Who knows what the outcome is. It's $200,000 for a private jet to fly around just to get me there and back. He’s a beast, he's a dog, and he's coming to win. This is his make-or-break moment as a boxer himself. It's gonna be a really good fight."

August turned pro in 2013 and is on a five-fight unbeaten streak. He last fought in August, and the 35-year-old is ready to defy the odds against the YouTuber.

Outside the main event, a world title is on the line, while several young fighters look to impress. Here’s a breakdown of the entire Jake Paul vs. Andre August undercard.

Shadasia Green vs. Franchon Crews-Dezurn

  • Division: Super Middleweight
  • Green record: 13-0
  • Crews-Dezurn record: 8-2

"I've poured blood, sweat, tears, and every ounce of determination into this journey,” said Green. “Stepping into the ring for the WBC super middleweight championship is a dream come true. Franchon is a beast in the ring, but make no mistake: when we meet in that ring, it's going to be an all-out war, and I'm coming for that title."

A 2012 World Championships silver medalist, Crews-Dezurn (8-2) turned pro in 2016 and lost to Claressa Shields in her debut. She beat Maricela Cornejo in 2018 to win the WBC title and again in 2019 for the WBO belt.

A loss against Alejandra Jimenez got overturned into a no-contest following a failed drug test on the part of Jimenez. "The Heavy Hitting Diva” edged Cederroos in April 2022 to become the undisputed super middleweight champion but lost the belts in her last fight against Savannah Marshall in July.
