Floyd "Money" Mayweather remained undefeated and retained his welterweight title with a unanimous decision over Manny Pacquiao at the MGM Grand Las Vegas on Saturday.
The scores were 118-110, 116-112 and 116-112 — all in Mayweather's favor — as he improved to 48–0 in his professional career.

"I knew he was going to push me, I knew that he was going to win some rounds," Mayweather said after the fight. "He had moments in the fight, but I kept him on the outside. I was a smart fighter. I outboxed him.
"I wasn’t getting hit with a lot of shots until I sit right there in the pocket, thats when he landed a lot of shots and we did what we had to do tonight. I am truly blessed.
"I am a calculated fighter. He (Pacquiao) is a tough competitor. But I got to take my hat off to my dad because without my dad I would not be where I am at."

The "Fight of the Century" was a bit underwhelming as Mayweather clung to the ropes for the first several rounds. Pacquiao tried to seize his opportunity by throwing punches and landing jabs but Mayweather slowly wore him down.
It was clear Mayweather displayed a certain amount of style in the ring. He glided and bounced around, striking when the opportunity presented itself. Pacquiao was on the offensive, but it was Mayweather's poise and technical game that ultimately won him the fight.
Pacquiao was less than impressed with his opponent's fighting style, and thought the outcome should have been different.
"It's a good fight. I thought I won the fight," Pacquiao said. "He didn't do nothing. He always moved outside.
"He's moving around. It's not easy to throw a lot of punches if your opposition is moving around. If he stays then I can throw a lot of punches."
Mayweather indicated that after one more fight later this year, he'll be ready to retire.
"My last fight is in September then it is time for me to hang it up," Mayweather said. "I am almost 40 years old now. I have been in the sport 19 years now, been world champion 18 years"
