Floyd Mayweather Jr. doesn't disagree with Colin Kaepernick's protests, but said football should be Kaepernick's top priority.
Mayweather was talking with "Tha Boxing Voice" when he said Kaepernick should focus on getting the starting position back. The interview was conducted Oct. 9, before it was announced Kaepernick had replaced Blaine Gabbert as the starter for the 49ers this Sunday at Buffalo.

"Kaepernick needs to try and get the starting job," Mayweather said. "Stand up, and get the starting job. That’s what he needs to focus on. But I can’t knock him. If that’s what he believes in and the people stand behind him, so be it."
Kaepernick has caused controversy by kneeling during the national anthem before games, but the attention has opened up discussions on the racial divides in the country.
"He's got the number one selling jersey, so it's obvious he's doing something right," Mayweather said.

Mayweather also criticized the "Black Lives Matter" movement, countering with "All Lives Matter."
