Toronto Wolfpack forward Darcy Lussick has joked he will fight Nelson Asofa-Solomona in Bali - but believes the Melbourne Storm giant isn’t serious about meeting him inside the boxing ring.
Asofa-Solomona called the former Manly and Parramatta prop out last weekend with an inflammatory Instagram post.
The Storm behemoth was suspended by the NRL for his role in a brawl outside Bali night club La Favela that went viral last October.
On Saturday he signalled his intentions to take his talents into the boxing ring when posted a picture of Lussick celebrating his first-round KO of retired NRL centre Justin Hodges.

The accompanying caption read: "When you fight a retired back. Darcy Lussick if you want a real fight, I'd happily jab your face off for easy money.”
Footage of NAS punching a pad off of his trainer’s hand then surfaced, to which Lussick responded in the comments: ‘I’m Nelson’s daddy’.
Speaking on Fox League Live on Friday, the Wolfpack prop confirmed his interest in fighting the 200cm, 115kg New Zealander but suggested Asofa-Solomona is all talk.
“I’m all in, happy to do it. I’ve told him about five times that I’m ready to go so we’ll see if he’s serious or not,” Lussick told Fox Sports.
“… I think (promoter) Matty Rose is pushing it to try and make it happen so that’s probably the first thing.
“Second thing is I’m going to have to be paid a nice amount of money and the third thing is he’s going to actually have to turn up so that’s probably the one thing (that won’t happen).”
Lussick added: “He is a big boy, probably the biggest in the NRL.
“He was into me about fighting a retired back. He’s the biggest person in the NRL so I’ll take him and then he can’t say anything about that, can he?”
“… I don’t think he’s actually going to get in the ring anyway to start with … I really don’t think so, he’s just talking it up at the moment.”
Asked tongue-in-cheek if he would consider holding the bout in Bali, Lussick quipped: “We can fight there if he wants (laughs) but no, no, it won’t be outside (infamous Kuta nightspot) La Favela.”
