Jai Opetaia is one tough S.O.B - and there's photos to prove it.
The 27-year-old defeated Mairis Briedis on Saturday night on the Gold Coast, claiming both the IBF and The Ring cruiserweight straps.
It was revealed after the bout that Opetaia had suffered a broken jaw, and now images have surfaced showing the full extent of his injury.
"He broke the right side in the second round and the left in the sixth," a statement supplied to The Sporting News said.
"He fought for more than six rounds with a jaw broken in two places..having surgery now."

Opetaia moved to a 22-0 professional record following his huge unanimous decision win.
