Boxer Carl Frampton is reportedly withdrawing from Saturday's featherweight bout against Emmanuel Dominguez in Philadelphia after suffering a broken hand in a freak accident.
According to multiple reports, Frampton suffered two broken bones in his left hand. BoxingScene.com reported "Frampton was sitting in the lobby of his Philadelphia hotel" when "someone accidentally bumped into some sort of concrete structure and knocked it over."
The strange incident caused Frampton's injury.

The 32-year-old has not fought since losing to Josh Warrington in December, only his second career defeat in 28 bouts. Frampton, the former super-bantamweight and featherweight world champion, had considered retirement after that defeat.
But the Irish boxer signed a multi-fight deal with Top Rank in March. The fight with Dominguez was expected to set up a title fight with WBO champion Oscar Valdez later this year.
On Monday, Frampton tweeted video of him working out, saying, "Last hard session completed. 4×4 Minute treadmill intervals. It's fight week now, training done, time to focus on the fight!"
