It's Under Armour’s first professional league uniform deal and the company will also provide exclusive Connected Fitness offerings to MLB teams, which will power and provide athletes with state-of-the-art technology designed to inform and strengthen player performance.
"Under Armour’s marketing ability and brand status are a perfect fit to showcase our players and provide an even stronger connection between our game and its young fans and players," MLB commissioner Rob Manfred said in a release. "We appreciate Majestic's many contributions to our clubs, players and fans throughout our partnership."
Under Armour has supplied some MLB gear since 2000. The company has more than 400 individual athlete sponsorship deals with baseball players, including All-Stars Clayton Kershaw, Bryce Harper, Eric Hosmer, Rick Porcello and Buster Posey.
When Majestic's deal with MLB ends in 2019, the partnership will have lasted for 35 years.
