Felix Hernandez might be the best starting pitcher of his generation.
After just missing out on his second Cy Young award last year, King Felix has been largely dominant to start the season. On Sunday, Hernandez solidified his status in history by becoming the fourth-youngest pitcher (29 years, 32 days) to reach 2,000 career strikeouts.

Hernandez is a five-time All-Star, two-time AL ERA leader, and pitched a perfect game against the Rays in 2012. He is the most successful Venezuelan pitcher in MLB history, and should still be able to significantly add to his already sterling career numbers.
