West Coast have given fans something to smile about on Thursday - announcing new contracts for star trio Andrew Gaff, Josh Kennedy and Shannon Hurn.

Gun wingman Gaff has committed to the club for four more seasons, while Kennedy and Hurn have inked one-year deals.

Gaff was linked with a move away from the club throughout the 2018 season but signed a new two-year contract with a long-term extension clause.

That extension has now been agreed, while the decorated careers of Kennedy and Hurn will continue for at least one more season.

Hurn, 33, captained the team to their 2018 premiership, while Kennedy kicked three goals on the day to help turn the tide in the second half.

Gaff was infamously suspended on that occasion, seeing him miss the grand final.

Hurn has played 286 games since being drafted by the Eagles with pick 13 in the 2005 draft.

The versatile defender has remained a near constant presence in the club's back half, famed as much for his booming right foot as his dogged defensive work.

Kennedy has played 260 AFL games, 238 with the Eagles, kicking 645 goals as one of the most dominant key forwards of the era.

Gaff, 28, has played 215 games since being selected by West Coast with the fourth pick in the 2010 draft.

He has developed into one of the competition's premier outside runners, earning two All Australian selections.

It looks like West Coast will again go into 2021 as one of teams to beat, though their campaign is over for this year.

The Eagles were bundled out of the finals on Saturday, going down to Collingwood by a solitary point in the elimination final.
