Adelaide skipper Taylor Walker is set to miss his side's clash with Brisbane next week after being handed a one-match suspension for his hit on Zach Tuohy.

Walker collected Tuohy in the head with a bump in the first quarter for the Crows' win over Geelong at Adelaide Oval on Thursday night.

Tuohy was taken from the ground but able to return after passing concussion testing.

Match review officer Michael Christian charged the 28-year-old with rough conduct, grading the hit as careless with medium impact to the head.

The Crows can elect to challenge the ban at the tribunal, possibly arguing for a grading of low impact which would result in a $1,000 fine.

Walker wasn't the only Crow charged following the 15-point win, with Bryce Gibbs hit with a $2,000 fine for rough conduct on Joel Selwood.

The pair came together in the first quarter, with Selwood going to ground after contact.
