Richmond pair Sydney Stack and Callum Coleman-Jones are being investigated by the AFL after an incident outside a Gold Coast strip club on Thursday night.
The duo were reportedly booted out of Surfers Paradise venue Hollywood Showgirls before they became involved in an altercation.
It's understood police were called to the scene following the incident.
Richmond confirmed two players had broken the League's COVID-19 biosecurity protocols.
Richmond has become aware of a breach of AFL Covid-19 protocol by two of its players, in the early hours of Friday morning.

The Club immediately reported the breach of protocols to the AFL, and is working with the League to investigate the matter.
The news comes just days after the AFL confirmed the competition's first-ever grand final outside Victoria would be held in Queensland this season.
Richmond can expect a hefty fine for what will be considered a clear breach of League's coronavirus protocols, while the pair are likely to cop suspensions.
The Tigers have already been hit a $45,000 fine, $25,000 of which was suspended, after Brooke Cotchin, the wife of skipper Trent Cotchin, posted about a visit to a day spa on social media.
Queensland's government has allowed teams to bypass the state's border restrictions on the condition that players, staff and families remain in hubs.
Most teams are based in resorts and can interact freely with those in the hub, though contact with people outside the bubble or visits to places such as bars and restaurants aren't permitted.
The AFL's sanction is likely to see Richmond made to pay the $25,000 suspended fine, as well as an even larger whack on top following the latest breach.
As part of the League's newly introduced rules ahead of the resumption, the fines will be taken out of the club's football department soft cap for 2021.
Stack, 20, has missed the past two games with a hip injury and has played nine for the season, while ruckman Coleman-Jones, 21, hasn't featured in 2020, making his solitary senior appearance last year.
