State of Origin bushfire relief match: Victorian and All Stars squads revealed image

Damien Hardwick and John Longmire have revealed their squads for the upcoming State of Origin bushfire relief match.

Victoria will take on an All Stars outfit on Friday, February 28 at Marvel Stadium, with the AFLW clash between Collingwood and Melbourne acting as the curtain-raiser.

Last year's premiers Richmond have the equal most representatives, with both the Tigers and Brisbane supplying six participants to the two 27-man squads.

GWS and Collingwood come in next, with five of their players set to turn out for the fixture.

According to the AFL, the only criteria was that one player from each club had to be selected.

Melbourne, Essendon and Gold Coast are the only clubs with the minimum number of players in the squads.

A player's eligibility was based on where they were born, not where they were drafted from.
