Fremantle defender Nathan Wilson requires stitches after fight at house party image

Fremantle defender Nathan Wilson has been caught up in a violent incident at a house party on over the weekend.

Wilson was punched in the face after a fight broke out in the street out the front of a 21st in Mandurah, south of Perth.

Nine News Perth reports that Wilson required two stitches under his eye following the incident which occurred after guests were asked to leave the party.

Wilson, 26, is understood to have informed the club shortly after the incident.

Another man was injured on the night, though neither victim were willing or able to identify the attackers.

Police have investigated and cleared Wilson of any wrongdoing.


Wilson has played all 12 games for the club in 2019, averaging 18 disposals per game.

The rebounding defender, who is originally from Mandurah, is in his second season at Freo, having played with GWS for six years.

Wilson picked up 16 disposals in his side's win over Port Adelaide on Saturday evening.
