Majak Daw subject to disgusting racist trolling online image

North Melbourne star Majak Daw is the latest AFL player to be subjected to disgusting racist abuse online.

Just a week after Crows forward Eddie Betts called out a vile comment on Adelaide's Instagram page, Daw was the subject of similarly shocking comments on Facebook.

The AFL's official Facebook page posted a photo of Daw with teammate Jed Anderson's son in the crowd for Saturday's JLT Series match against St Kilda.

It didn't take long for the shocking comments to roll in on the post.

Among the more shocking, was this one: "What a frightening experience for the youngster. Face to face with a go rilla."

The photo was eventually deleted after yet more racist comments were left.

Before it was removed, a few screenshots calling out the disgusting comments were doing the rounds on social media.

Patrick Dangerfield, who was vocal in his condemnation of abuse directed towards Betts last week, retweeted the screenshot above.

Daw is still on the recovery path after sustaining injuries in an incident on Bolte Bridge in Melbourne late last year.

The AFL world rallied around Betts last week after he shared some of the abuse he copped on Instagram.

AFLPA CEO Paul Marsh and Adelaide Crows boss Andrew Fagan called for social media racists to be named and shamed.
