Luke Dahlhaus has taken to social media to respond to recent suggestions that he lost his hunger for success after the drought-breaking 2016 premiership.
Bulldogs legend Bob Murphy suggested as much on radio recently following the news that Dahlhaus would be leaving the club as a free agent.
"I think a few of them in 2017 took their eye off the ball," Murphy said on SEN earlier this month.
"I think Luke would put his hand up to say that he maybe wasn't as dedicated or hungry as he'd been the years before.
"That was his thing, he missed out on the draft because he wasn't the most talented, but he was a ball of hunger and selflessness.
"He still does play like that, but the last two years, it's been shaded a little bit and not what it was."
Currently on holiday in Europe with fellow uncontracted premiership star Tom Liberatore, Dahlhaus has taken to Instagram with a picture and several 'stories' referencing the criticism.

The 26-year-old also posted several videos from beach in which he discusses the comments.
"F***in hell, how unmotivating is this?," Dahlhaus said.
"I feel so unmotivated. I swear when I woke up after 2016 I was just so unmotivated.
"F***in hell, I wish I was listening to SEN.
"Holy f***, that shoe is so unmotivating, it must have been made in 2016"
Since being drafted as a rookie in 2011, Dahlhaus played 154 games at the Dogs, kicking 110 goals.
He enjoyed career best seasons in 2015 and 2016, averaging 26 touches and five tackles per game.
His tackle numbers dropped slightly in 2017 and 2018, with his average possessions slipping to 21 per game before an ankle injury ended his season in round 18 this year.
After eight seasons at the Whitten Oval, Geelong appear in the box seat to secure Dahlhaus, reportedly on a four-year deal.
