GWS Giant Jon Patton has been the source of much speculation recently, with reports he could be on the move.
In particular, Hawthorn has been seen as the ideal destination for Patton, who is reportedly recovering well from a third ACL sustained this time last year, ironically against the Hawks in Round 15.
Speaking on SEN, McClure said he expects that the Giants forward will move to Victoria to join the Hawks.

Fellow host Nick Riewoldt asked, “What would they have to give up for him?
“Similar to the Tom Scully situation?”
The Tom Scully trade saw Scully, a former GWS player, move to Hawthorn for a future fourth-round pick , in a move reportedly designed for salary cap relief for the Giants.
Scully has since played 13 games for the Hawks this year.
“Yeah, I don’t think much," McClure replied.
“He’s done three knees now. He’s on a lot of money.
“They’ve got (Lachie) Whitfield coming out of contact at the end of next year. They’ve got (Tim) Taranto and (Jacob) Hopper who look like they might be $700,000 players themselves soon.
“They’ve got to keep turning the wheel. It’s a deal that will make sense for all parties.”
Earlier this week, Giants' General Manager of Footy Wayne Campbell provided an update on Patton to gwsgiants.com.au.
"He's been training really well for 4-6 weeks now," Campbell said.
"We think over the next couple of weeks he'll get out there and play again. It's been great to see him up and about."
It's good news for Patton, who earlier in this year travelled to the US to work with knee expert Bill Knowles, who has previously worked with Melbourne's Jake Lever and West Coast's Nic Naitanui on their respective ACL injuries.
He himself is confident of a return, given the latest injury was to his left knee rather than his right, which he has previously had repaired twice.
Patton has kicked 130 goals in 89 games for the Giants, after debuting back in 2012.
He was drafted at No.1 in the 2011 AFL Draft, and had a breakout season in 2017, kicking 45 goals from 22 games to lead the Giants' goalkicking for the year.
