Essendon v North Melbourne: Anthony McDonald-Tipingwuti's ridiculous match-winner image

Anthony McDonald-Tipingwuti booted four goals on Saturday evening but he saved his best for last, breaking North Melbourne hearts with a snap from the tightest of angles to win the match.

With less than 30 seconds on the clock, the ball found the Bombers livewire deep in the forward pocket, McDonald-Tipingwuti turning and throwing the ball on his boot.

To Essendon fans' delight, the Sherrin sailed through the big sticks, sealing a five-point win.

We can't be the only ones having flashbacks to James Hird's memorable match-winner from the same pocket against West Coast back in 2004?

McDonald-Tipingwuti's goal would be the last of a seesawing affair, that Essendon would have been bitterly disappointed to lose given their three-goal lead at the final change and inaccuracy in front of goal.

Though after getting out to a three-goal lead of their own in the first term, the Kangaroos will be going home with a bad taste in their mouths.
