Eddie Betts, you are a freak.

In his 300th game, the Adelaide superstar put on an absolute masterclass with six goals in front of a packed Adelaide Oval.

But it was his final six-pointer that sent the stadium wild.

The unofficial 'Eddie Betts pocket' may need to rebranded the 'Eddie Betts end' after the man of the moment split the posts with a cracking banana kick with his unfavoured left boot.

“The smiling magician Eddie Betts … he’s been awesome entertainer. He understands the occasion,” David King said on Fox Footy at half-time.

“Every time he’s near the ball he wants to stand up and wants to hit the scoreboard and wants to get you a goal.”

That goal will be played for years to come, but it was his fifth goal that was the most memorable for Betts after winning a bet against a family member.

"To be honest I was just super proud that i kicked five goals,'' Betts said after the game.

''I had a bet with my brother-in-law Tom, he said that if I kicked five goals he would get a tattoo of my face on his butt-cheek.

''I can't wait for it, Tom.''

The six-goal effort saw him overtake North Smith's goal-kicking record.

After a scrappy first term, the Crows kicked at least five goals in each of the next three quarters to seal a 18.11 (119) to 6.10 (46) victory over the Suns.
