Put your money on the Dockers this week. Or maybe don't.

Luck was on the side of a couple of Fremantle players on Wednesday as they both managed to hit separate holes-in-one while playing golf.

Midfielder Ed Langdon wasn't all that happy with his round but he will never forget the eighth hole at Bicton's Point Walter Golf Course.

The 23-year-old aced the 292m par four - though he didn't realise until he made it to the green.

"It was about a 300 metre par-four and I just flushed it," Langdon told fremantlefc.com.au.

"I felt it was on a good line, when we got up to the green we were having a look around and we couldn’t find it.

"I was feeling really flat as I couldn’t figure out where it went.

"Then one of the guys I was playing with had a look in the hole and it was in there. It was pretty exciting stuff."

As if one ace wasn't enough for the Dockers, key defender Joel Hamling managed one while playing with a bunch of teammates at Glen Iris Golf Course.

Hamling only needed one shot to complete the 140m par-three 12th and couldn't believe it when told about his teammate's earlier efforts.

"Really? Which hole was it? On the eighth? How far did he drive it? He’s playing us surely,” Hamling said.

"Nah, I don’t mind that at all! It’s pretty cool.

"I think I had my best score for a while.

"It was on the 12th, I had a 9-iron and went back into my bag and got a 7-iron. I hit a slight fade and it took one bounce and went in."

Teammates Brennan Cox, Taylin Duman and Brandon Matera were both on hand to document Hamling's hole-in-one for Instagram

Now you've just got to decide whether this means the Dockers are sure things to beat Western Bulldogs on Saturday or whether they've used all their luck.
