Collingwood pair Levi Greenwood and Tyson Goldsack were allegedly involved in a physical altercation with former player Nathan Djerrkura on Saturday night, according to reports.

AFL.com.au reports that the two Magpies were accompanied by a third man employed by Rio Tinto, a principal partner for the AFL's indigenous programs, when the incident occured at Walkabout Tavern in the Northern Territory.

The Collingwood duo were in the northern township of Nhulunbuy, around 1000 kilometres east of Darwin, for the White Ribbon Football Competition and Family Day at Hindle Oval.

It is believed that former Geelong and Western Bulldogs player Djerrkura had a conversation with the trio before the alleged altercation occured.

Greenwood, Goldsack and the third man are understood to have left the pub immediately afterwards and no one was seriously injured.

"He has since been released and issued an infringement for disorderly behaviour," a statement provided to the AFL read.

"Police have not received a complaint and are therefore not investigating an assault."

A Collingwood spokesman told AFL media that club officials would speak to Greenwood and Goldsack upon their return to Melbourne.

Both Greenwood and Goldsack signed one-year extensions with Collingwood in October taking their careers through 2019.
