AFL Coleman Medal: Seven-goal haul pushes GWS forward Jeremy Cameron into big early lead image

If you're scoring seven goals in a game, invariably you're in the discussion for the Coleman Medal.

That's exactly what Jeremy Cameron achieved against an injury-ravaged Richmond in round three.

Cameron's 14 majors are the most by any player after three rounds, and he is four ahead of next-best Jordan De Goey.

The Collingwood livewire kicked five in his side's round two win over Richmond, and despite the Pies losing a grand final rematch a week later to West Coast, De Goey still managed to kick three goals.

Richmond recruit Tom Lynch also has 10 goals to his name in his new colours, but with injuries to key stars, the pressure will only increase.

Gold Coast's Alex Sexton also brought up 10 goals in his 100th game against the Bulldogs, with the Suns improving to 2-1 this season.

Brisbane's rise to second on the ladder has also coincided with Charlie Cameron, Eric Hipwood and Lincoln McCarthy all kicking goals for fun.
