Brisbane coach Chris Fagan has joined the Lions' growing injury list, admitting he may have torn his hamstring ''off the bone'' after slipping down a step during the Big Freeze MND slide.

Dresses as a reverend in attribution to the nickname handed to Essendon great Neale Daniher, Fagan completed the slide in style, and it wasn't until he stepped out of the ice pool where things went nasty.

Immediately after the stack, most people took Fagan's claims that he had injured his hamstring as a joke.

“I reckon I pulled it (hamstring) off the bone … there might need to be an ambulance to get me out of here,'' he told Channel Seven.

Turns out it wasn't a lie after the Herald Sun's Jon Ralph tracked down the Brisbane mentor for a follow-up report.

''I might have done a serious amount of damage. I have done hammies before and this feels no good,'' he said.

The inaugural event kicked off in 2015 ahead of the traditional Queen's Birthday clash between Collingwood and Melbourne, designed to raise awareness for the 'Fight MND (motor neurone disease)' campaign.

All 18 coaches participated, providing a number of highlights in the lead up to the game.
