Carlton's effort from their winless opening month has finally turned into results with the Blues taking an enormous step in their development with their first win of the year.
And it came in convincing fashion, responding from their final minute loss to Gold Coast last week with a 44-point demolition of the Bulldogs.
Skipper Patrick Cripps, who outmastered Marcus Bontempelli, led from the front with 37 disposals alongside Sam Petrevski-Seton (35) through the midfield, while Harry McKay slotted four goals.
But the largest celebration came for number one draft pick Sam Walsh when he kicked a goal in the final play of the game to record Carlton's first triple figure score, having averaged 66.75 points across the past month - the worst of any side.

Carlton take on the Hawks at the University of Tasmania Stadium next week, chasing consecutive wins for the first time since round 12-13 in 2017.
