AFLW 2021: Teams, fixtures, broadcast information, tickets and scores image

The 2021 AFLW campaign is upon us as the competition enters its fifth season.

14 teams are vying for the premiership, with Essendon, Hawthorn, Port Adelaide and Sydney the only AFL teams still without an AFLW affiliate.

Organisers will be dearly hoping for an uninterrupted season following the early end to the 2020 edition.

Despite the final two rounds of the season being abandoned and the finals brought forward, no premier was awarded as the season was brought to a complete halt by COVID-19.

Fingers crossed 2021 can go off without a hitch as country's best footballers strut their stuff on the big stage.

Every match will be broadcast live either through Seven or Foxtel while ticketing has been introduced to the competition.

The 2021 AFLW season started on Thursday, January 28 when Carlton host Collingwood at Ikon Park and runs for the next 12 weeks until the grand final on April 17.

Here's everything you need to know about the AFLW season.
