AFL trade news: Adelaide defender Alex Keath requests trade to the Western Bulldogs image

Adelaide defender Alex Keath has requested a trade to the Western Bulldogs.

The 27-year-old informed the Crows of his decision on Thursday afternoon, according to AFL.com.au.

Keath was only reportedly offered a two-year deal by the Crows, but was looking for a deal around the four-year mark.

It's been a career-best year for Keath, having won the Showdown Medal, as well as playing 18 games filling the void left by injured backman Tom Doedee.

It's believed that the Bulldogs are offering a deal that far exceeds what Adelaide had tabled.

Keath also toured St Kilda's facilities earlier this month, and was weighing up the two clubs, before ultimately deciding on the Dogs.

The defender might not be the only Crow on the move, with the likes of Eddie Betts, Josh Jenkins, Brad Crouch and Hugh Greenwood all looking like they won't be at West Lakes in 2020.
