Adam Treloar's time at Collingwood is done following the club's handling of the star midfielder's situation.
That's the opinion of Matthew Lloyd and Kane Cornes as the Magpies fail to give Treloar assurances regarding his future.
The 27-year-old's partner, Australian netballer Kim Ravaillion, signed a deal with Queensland Firebirds, though Treloar was happy to remain in Melbourne and continue playing for Collingwood.

Reports have since emerged claiming the Pies are looking to offload the contracted onballer to free up some salary cap space.
Speaking on AFL Trade Radio, Essendon great Lloyd thinks Treloar is as good as done.
"I don’t think there is (any coming back from this)," Lloyd said.
"It’s interesting that they were talking about Adam’s wellbeing, if a club wants you enough, they will work with you to make it work.
"For example, could you imagine if Dustin Martin or Marcus Bontempelli’s wife signs a contract with a netball team (interstate) and he says, 'I still want to play and we can work through it'.
"(The club) is not going to say 'nah, nah, nah, for your wellbeing you go to the Gold Coast'. They’d do everything in their power to say 'we’ll pay for flights, we’ll fly her back'.
"They (Collingwood) have got themselves in this problem. It’s a salary cap mess and Treloar is the collateral damage."
Treloar has played 173 AFL games, 94 with Collingwood since joining from GWS at the end of 2015.
Port Adelaide 300-gamer Cornes was scathing in his criticism of the Pies' handling of the situation.
"The treatment of the player is bordering on disgraceful when you look at the way it has been done," Cornes said.
"There’s been no one from the club that has come out and spoken on this and if this was untrue, you’d think the Collingwood Football Club would be jumping on the front foot or even ringing us and saying 'this is incorrect, Adam Treloar is a valued member of the team and we want him' - we haven’t heard anything.
"Not one person from the club has spoken on Treloar’s future, so the way that we’re treating him is really disgraceful."
As for what might lie ahead for Treloar, Cornes warned the Suns against going after him, but suggested the Demons would be a good fit.
"I probably wouldn’t pursue Treloar if I was Gold Coast, with his age, the money he’s on and his body starting to break down with the soft tissue injuries that he’s got," he said.
"I think he's an actual fit at Melbourne. I look at the midfield and how many inside players they've got in Viney and Oliver and Petracca and Brayshaw, I think he fits in there.
"If there is one club that's a fit, it appears to me like it could be Melbourne."
