Fremantle midfielder Lachie Neale is reportedly on the verge of pushing for a trade to Brisbane and will do so following the Fremantle best and fairest presentation on Saturday night.
Neale is contracted to the Dockers for next season but is understood to be keen on a move to the Lions who have a flashed a long-term deal worth a reported $1 million per season.
The Dockers host their Doig Medal presentation on Saturday night where Neale is a chance to add a second gong to his 2016 win.
The 25-year-old South Australian is expected to request a trade in the coming days.

Brisbane currently have the fourth pick in the draft but that is expected to be shunted back to fifth when Gold Coast receive their compensation pick for Tom Lynch.
The Dockers have said that pick won't be enough to pry Neale away, meaning Brisbane may have to throw in a second rounder or a future pick to get the deal done.
Neale is one of Fremantle's most consistent performers and an important leader at the club.
He averaged 30 disposals per game in 2018 as one of the few shining lights in a disappointing season.
The ball-magnet has played 135 games at the club since being selected with the 58th pick in the 2011 draft.
If Fremantle do gain several picks in a trade with the Lions they are likely to be moved on to Melbourne as the Dockers try to lure the contracted Jesse Hogan across the Nullarbor.
Freo have made no secret of their wish to recruit a key forward and in Western Australian Hogan they believe they have found their man.
Expect chatter around that deal to hot up when the trade window opens on Monday.
