Melbourne key forward Jesse Hogan has toured the facilites of Fremantle as he weighs up a potential trade.
Hogan is from WA and has been linked with a move back for several years, though he is contracted for next season at the Demons.
Both the player and club have however said they would be open to a move, with Fremantle pushing hard to bring the 23-year-old across the Nullarbor.
On Thursday, Hogan and his manager were given a tour of the club's new Cockburn facilites as well as meeting with several officials including new football manager Peter Bell and chief executive Steve Rosich.

Fremantle currently have pick five in the draft though may also gain pick four in a trade with Brisbane for midfielder Lachie Neale.
Melbourne are likely to be eyeing off one of those plus a little extra for the star forward.
Dees footy manager Josh Mahoney said on Tuesday that the club were open to the possibility.
"He's at the stage in his career that he's got to think about what is the next phase for him, and he said to us one thing he wants to consider is, is going back to Perth a chance?," Mahoney said.
"He's going to take the next few days to think about that."
Hogan has played 71 games for the Dees, kicking 152 goals.
A foot injury against Sydney in round 21 cut his 2018 season short, seeing him miss the club's first finals campaign since 2006.
