Collingwood key position player Darcy Moore has reportedly agreed terms on a two-year contract extension with the club.

The 22-year-old has been linked with a move away from the Pies for much of the season, though according to The Age, he has agreed to stay at Collingwood.

Sydney were one of the clubs interested in bringing Moore to the club, though his representatives were always confident of reaching a deal with the Pies.

Moore has played 54 games since being drafted as a father-son selection with pick nine in 2014 draft.

Originally played as a forward but most recently finding himself down back, Moore struggled with injury in 2018.

He played seven senior matches, though went off injured in three of them.

The Pies will be hoping he can sort his body out over the off-season and give some support to the ageing key defensive trio of Tyson Goldsack, Ben Reid and Lynden Dunn.

Out-of-contract defender Tom Langdon will be next on Collingwood's wish list, though both parties are confident of reaching an agreement.

Langdon had a superb finals series, culminating with a fourth-placed finish in Norm Smith Medal voting.

Collingwood fans will be sweating on an announcement regarding a new contract for the 24-year-old.
