Richmond superstar and 2017 Brownlow medallist Dustin Martin was the only player to appear in each expert's top two, while last year's All Australian captain Lance Franklin occupied a different spot in the top three among all three lists.
Ruckman Max Gawn appeared in all three lists, even topping Riewoldt's, while Collingwood Brodie Grundy scraped into Garry Lyon's top ten.
Watson had Tigers backman Alex Rance at number three, while Lyon had him at four and Riewoldt at eight. Jeremy McGovern received a pair of nods as well.
Carlton captain and young gun Patrick Cripps appeared in all three lists, while Clayton Oliver was named twice, with Riewoldt leaving him out but going for a unique selection in Josh Kelly.
Jack Riewoldt (Lyon) and Josh J. Kennedy (Riewoldt) were the only other unique picks.
