AFL fixtures: League confirms round six and seven match-ups image

The AFL has officially confirmed its fixtures for rounds six and seven, with a number of clubs set to relocate as part of the League's next iteration of the hubs.

Following their respective round six clashes against Brisbane and St. Kilda, Collingwood and Geelong will relocate to Western Australia, with the two powerhouse Victorian clubs set to face each other in round seven in a Friday night blockbuster.

They will be joined by Fremantle and West Coast from round seven onwards, who have been based in Queensland hubs since the AFL resumed a fortnight ago, with the West Australian rivals to also face off in round seven.

Significantly, both fixtures look set to take place in front of crowds as Western Australia continues to open up its restrictions, with both games at Optus Stadium potentially due to attract up to 60,000 AFL fans.

Round seven has been billed as one of the biggest rounds of the 17-week regular season, with a number of blockbuster clashes listed alongside the Pies-Cats and Dockers-Eagles battles.

Essendon and Hawthorn will face off on Thursday night (July 16th), while Richmond and Greater Western Sydney will meet on Sunday (July 19th), in what will be a rematch of last year's grand final.
