The AFL Rover's Brownlow leaderboard: Dayne Beams into touching distance of Tom Mitchell image

Tom Mitchell (26 votes) and Stephen Coniglio (24) both went voteless for the second straight round, seeing Brisbane star Dayne Beams give himself a chance ahead of the final round.

Beams (24) is now within just two votes of Mitchell after snaring three votes in the spiteful 'Q Clash' at Metricon Stadium, which the Lions ended up winning by just four points.

The Brownlow Medal is now down to a three-horse race, with fourth-placed Elliot Yeo (22) four votes away from our leader with just the one round of the home-and-away season left, meaning the top gong is unattainable for the Eagles' star.

Yeo managed two votes in West Coast's shock loss to the Demons, but needed all three in the hope of sharing Charlie with any/all of the three leaders.

Reigning Brownlow Medalist Dustin Martin moves into the top ten after polling maximum votes in the Tigers' close win over Essendon.

Dusty is hitting peak form at the right time of the year for Richmond after beginning the season slowly, and the superstar has now recorded votes in his last eight matches.

No other players in the top 10 recorded any votes, however, Steele Sidebottom (1), Dyson Heppell (1), and Brodie Grundy (3) all pushed up the leaderboard with votes.

Full leaderboard here.
