It's a bad week to be named Jack.

Three Jacks look set for extended periods on the sideline, while late withdrawals were all the rage in round six.

Adelaide

Bryce Gibbs was one of several players who were late withdrawals with gastro over the course of the round but he should be fine to take on Freo. No Crows picked up fresh injuries in the win over St Kilda.

Brisbane

The Lions made it through their Q-Clash win with no injury worries.

Carlton

Charlie Curnow was a late withdrawal with knee soreness though he is expected to face North Melbourne. Veteran backman Kade Simpson experienced hamstring tightness and sat out the remainder of the game. He will be assessed during the week.

Collingwood

Mason Cox copped a knock to his knee but was able to finish the game. With a long turnaround from Anzac Day he should be right to play Port Adelaide on Friday.

Mason Cox

Essendon

Devon Smith was cleared of any serious damage to his right knee, though it was significant enough to rule him out the final term against the Pies. He remains a chance to play Geelong this week.

Fremantle

The Dockers got through their win over Western Bulldogs unscathed.

Geelong

The Cats are sitting pretty a game clear on top of the ladder and they got through their win over West Coast with a clean bill of health.

Gold Coast

The Suns were on the wrong end of a local derby loss but they didn't pick up any new injury concerns.

GWS

Phil Davis was an unsurprising late withdrawal, unable to overcome the ankle injury he picked up the week before. Lachie Whitfield was limited after copping a heavy corked thigh against the Swans, while Stephen Coniglio suffered a dislocated finger. Coach Leon Cameron said Coniglio has avoided surgery and should play this week, though Whitfield is still a doubt.

Hawthorn

James Cousins (ankle) and Kaiden Brand (shoulder) both picked up knocks and were treated during the win over Carlton. Though neither injury is expected to sideline them.

Melbourne

Jack Viney was crunched in a Sydney Stack bump and came up with a very sore shoulder. The midfielder was sent for scans, which confirmed Viney will avoid surgery. However, he will miss up to two weeks.

Alex Neal-Bullen will be assessed this week after struggling with a corked quad.

North Melbourne

Luke McDonald was treated for a strain to his medial though he was able to return to the game. He looks set to be monitored during the week. Shaun Higgins should be right to play Carlton this week after being a late withdrawal with illness.

Port Adelaide

Tom Jonas was a late withdrawal with calf tightness and has been ruled out of the club's clash with Collingwood on Friday night. Ryan Burton copped a knee in the back and Brad Ebert wore an elbow to the head but they were able to finish the match.

Richmond

Having welcomed Jack Riewoldt back from knee and wrist injuries for the clash with Melbourne, the Tigers look set to lose the star forward for an extended period. He suffered a high-grade PCL injury when colliding with Max Gawn's hip. The three-time Coleman Medal winner looks set to miss 6-8 weeks.

David Astbury rolled his ankle and looks to be a doubt to take the Bulldogs this week.

Captain Trent Cotchin looks set to miss at least three weeks after re-injuring the hamstring that his kept him out in recent weeks.

St Kilda

Rowan Marshall was a late withdrawal with illness. There were fears Jack Lonie had seriously injured his knee after jarring it in the first quarter. Fortunately he was cleared of ACL damage though did suffer an injury to ligaments in his knee. He looks set to miss some football but not as much as originally feared.

Jarryn Geary was released from hospital following surgery on a nasty corked thigh. He is also out for an extended period, though the Saints are yet to gain a clearer idea on a possible return timeframe.

Sydney

Superstar forward Lance Franklin was a late withdrawal with a hamstring problem and he will miss the trip to Brisbane in round seven.

West Coast

While it was an ugly looking scoreboard for the premiers' trip to the Cattery, they have no fresh injury concerns.

Western Bulldogs

The Dogs went down to Fremantle but picked up no new injuries.
